This week features a verse that promises God’s safety and protection.
I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save. (Isaiah 49:25b NIV)
Looking up the word “contend,” I found it means “to strive in opposition to.” God is striving (“stretching out”) to oppose people and things that strive to oppose us! He is our Defender and Savior!
