WHAT TO PREPARE:
AUDITION PREPARATION for A Midsummer Night’s Dream
- Please prepare the selection of text from Where the Wild Things Are. Memorization is not required, although encouraged. If you also plan to audition for A Christmas Carol, please prepare only the side for A Midsummer Night’s Dream and a song (can be a Christmas carol). [Print a copy of the text to practice.]
AUDITION PREPARATION for A Christmas Carol
- Please prepare a monologue or scene (someone in the audition room will read the other role) from A Christmas Carol. Memorization is not required, although encouraged. [Print a copy of the text to practice.] Additionally, please prepare a short song a cappella or self-accompanied (if you play an instrument).
OTHER important INFORMATION
- When you arrive for the audition, you will be asked to fill out an audition form/conflict sheet. Make plans to arrive early! Once the audition form is completed, your child will be called in to audition individually. Parents/Guardians are required to wait outside or on our grounds while their child auditions. Please do not leave your child unaccompanied during the audition.
- The director would like to know if your child plays any instruments, or has any other special skills that might be relevant onstage like gymnastics, dancing, skateboarding, etc. Please identify those skills/talents on the audition sheet!
Auditions begin at 10:00am. You must register (link below) for a time slot.

Callbacks will take place on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Auditionees will be notified if they are requested at callbacks.
