If you are withdrawing from Essential within the school year or at the end of the school year,
- Your attendance record is required upon withdrawal. Please complete and send to Essential Church School, PO Box 382034, Birmingham, AL 35238-2034, or complete the Online Attendance Record provided at the top of your Member Page. You can download or find the online form on the Forms Page. If you have completed the school year and submitted your attendance, there is no need to re-submit your attendance.
- All library items must be returned and attendance records submitted before student records will be sent to the new school.
- Please complete the online form below, and let us know where to send your student's files.
- The law requires parents with student drivers to notify us of the name of the new school, or their students will be listed as non-compliant with the Alabama Code 16-28-40.
- Some new schools will require a school transcript. If you would like grades to be reflected on your student's school transcript, please submit those grades to us ASAP. This is not a requirement for our school, and though you may not submit them to us, your new school may require them for your time at Essential. You will need to supply those records to them directly, or to us for a formal school transcript. We will have to charge a $10 processing fee if we are contacted 30 days after withdrawal for an adjusted transcript.
- Remember that tuition is not refunded or prorated for early withdrawal.
