Join our administrator for a virtual presentation sharing Essential's policies, procedures, and purposes for supporting homeschooling families. This meeting is presented using the Microsoft Teams application. When you RSVP, you will receive a link to this event. You can choose to view on your web browser as a guest, or open the Microsoft Teams app to view with your Microsoft account. We are unable to help you with technical difficulties, especially during the presentation. We suggest that you explore the Microsoft Teams troubleshooting website for help, and we do know that Apple's Safari web/mobile browser has been known to present issues with this service. A Q&A chat box will be available during the meeting, and we encourage you to ask any questions there. Kristy, our administrator, will address those questions after the presentation. Didn't receive an email confirmation with the event link? Please check all your email folders and junk/spam areas. Most email providers will scan our email and file it as junk/spam because it contains a URL. It will be sent to you as soon as you complete your RSVP below.
Applies to 2020-2021 enrolled families only. Make sure your online attendance records are complete. These are available for you to complete on your Member Page -OR- Submit scans/photos of printed or personal attendance records using the School Messages link on your Member Page or sending via email to info@essentialchurchschool.org Remember that attendance records must include a register of school days completed, not simply a number. Make sure the online form on your Member Page is updated -OR- email us a scan/photo of your completed attendance records. Remember that we do not require a certain number of school days, but we are required to keep of RECORD of actual school days for the laws governing church schools in Alabama. This is one of very few requirements we have for ALL of our Essential students whether they were enrolled for a day or for the entire school year.

On your Member Page, you will see a link to complete Re-Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year. Two things that must be completed: 2022-2023 school days must be finished (do not post-date your attendance record) 2022-2023 attendance must be reported Re-Enroll before August 1st to avoid the $25 late registration fee. DO NOT USE the online application for re-enrollment. Please use the form on your Member Page. Re-Enrollment will close completely on August 31, 2023.
Current families will find the 2024-2025 Re-Enrollment form on their Member Pages beginning May 1, 2024. Late re-enrollment begins on August 1st, and Re-Enrollment closes completely on September 1st.
Please submit your 2023-2024 attendance records through the online form or to the school office before June 30th. This is a legal requirement for all schools in Alabama.
The Essential school year runs from July 1st through June 30th. We allow families to set their own school day schedule within these parameters.
