Held every year at the beautiful Gabrella Manor! First Thursday in May, this year that is May 7th. 7-11 pm $30 per person. Pay at the door. We have a professional photographer, $25 for basic picture package. Semi formal. Note: most girls do wear a prom dress, boys need a suit, or sport coat, a few will wear a tux. This dance is open to any homeschool student in Alabama and a date. The date does not have to be homeschooled. Snacks and sodas provided... Music provided by DJ (no vulgar music) Off duty policemen to help patrol the grounds. We have plenty of chaperones. If parents feel they simply must stay, they must dress up for the dance and pay to get in. Spread the word to any and all homeschoolers you know. Join us for an informational afternoon covering high school preparation, classes, testing, and college prep! Our school administrator will be available to walk you through any questions about our school reporting and diploma requirements. No admission fees required, but donations are appreciated to cover the printing costs of materials and the time of presenters.

Join us for an afternoon of learning and exploring history - more specifically history in Alabama! Learn how archaeologists conduct their research and the tools that they use to uncover the past. Your class will learn the basics of archaeology while also building on their math, geometry & historical knowledge. We will excavate a mock archaeological unit and discuss current trends in archaeological research. We have reserved a site tour of the Native American mounds, as well as an archaeology program for our group. If costs are an overwhelming issue for our families, then we can remove the archaeology program for a simple site tour. Please communicate with us if this is an issue that is preventing your participation.
